    All-District is up.


    A few little glitches it seems as our SS is LF, our 3B is CF, our 2B is RF/P, and our P is 2B/P LOL

    I have to say, the response this year for these recognitions is even less than it was last year. Only 3 schools in our district even nominated. Coaches need to start waking up and filling out their paperwork. There are many, many young ladies I know of that should have been nominated and ARE district/state caliper players that are left on the shoulder of the road because someone is not getting the job done.

    The amount of coaches that are participating is pitiful and unexcuseable. Parents need to get the AD involved and find out why these coaches are not doing their jobs.

    chutebox, instead of being negative about the fact that coaches didn't take part, congratulate the ones that made. its a great honor either way. thanks to those who have make positive comments to the ladies. the ladies work hard all year.

    My bad. Congratulations to the girls who did made all district. Definitely do not want to take anything away from the girls who have coaches who do their job. You are correct in that ALL the ladies work hard all year and it would be nice if ALL the ladies had the same opportunites. The fact is because coaches don't do their jobs All District and All State is not a fair representation of talent in the state of NC. The girls that made it should be there, but there should be others added to the list that didn't have a chance because of their coach. People need to make a stand and demand that they do their job. Our coach did his job and I have no complaints about what he did. It is an honor to be selected, but it would be a bigger honor to be selected from ALL the schools in your district and not just the two or three schools that chose to participate.

    Consolation to all those who should have been nominated.

    Shame on those who expect hard work from their players and fail at an opportunity to give them recognition.
