    There are currently 48 high schools playing in the CCCCBL, figured there were at least a couple TBR's readers associated with these teams? Oh well, it's my first try at a thread!

    Raleigh Independent over Chapel Hill 11-7

    WP - Trent Watkins (pitched 4 innings in relief, allowed 1 run and had 9 K's)
    this game had lots of errors and few hits.

    I really hope we can get a lot of feedback on this thread. Summer school ball has not been discussed much on TBR, but with 48 schools participating, it should be.

    I think the 48 is just varsity... I think there are even more if you count in he JV teams.

    Here are the results for Sanderson as I know them:

    Lost to Middle Creek 14-5 (6/13)
    Beat Corinth Holder 10-0 (6/14....no hitter by Cas Silber)
    Beat Corinth Holder 4-0 (6/16)
    Beat Clayton 1-0 (6/20)
    Beat East Wake 4-3 (6/21)

    They play East Wake again tomorrow night at East Wake.
