Aggies win 2 more at Fort Mill

    "BOOM!!!"

Solid pitching performances by Aggies. Plus hustle and focus to get that extra base. :notworthy Fort Mill kept game #2 close with solid pitching until 7th. Nice crowd & concessions. Excellent value.

    Complaint ?

I've been to 5 SCBL games this summer, and I think the level of play is very much in line with the Valley and Coastal Plain Leagues. However the stats/website is very much lacking in comparison to those two leagues (which use the normal college baseball stats type information and is very current with information). So to be a viable alternative, I really think more focus should be put into the website - standings / stats / current updates. It's very much lacking in comparison to the other leagues. Don't like to be negative, but it's a problem IMO.

I think there is definitely room for improvement, particularly at the league's website: However, this link, http://www.pointstreak.com/baseball/stats.html?leagueid=727&seasonid=1894, is current and the team's do a great job in reporting to keep it that way.

Each team does a very good job with their own team websites, but the league site can use an uplift.

    Pineville gets Stung

    Pineville Pioneers 3

    Fort Mill Stingers 4

Pineville loses a tough one in the bottom of the ninth. Fort Mill gets a walk off single to plate two runs and get the win. On to Lake Norman on Friday.

    pointstreak not easy to navigate

pointstreak not easy to navigate. but is the best i've found for scbl.

on the scbl org website (the league leaders webpages) and stats seem incorrect. they vary greatly. seem to have the wrong filter. hard to tell if you are looking at league stats or team stats.

what to you expect for $5 a game? most teams don't update thier website with results. and the local papers give better coverage if you can find them.

    Understand the situation

Actually been surfing through both and like you suggest, trying other places as well. You're right there does seem to be some inconsistencies and that is kind of frustrating. 90% is accurate, but it looks like entire game stats are missing here and there. For instance, Garrett Furr has this huge day - http://www.thisboardrocks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=178313 - and in the stats, the entire second game (2 HRs 8 RBIs) are not there for him - or anyone else. So that kind of diminishes looking at league leaders when the probable leader in a bunch of categories (HRs, RBIs) doesn't get credit for the maybe the biggest day in the history of the SCBL. Anyway sorry to be such a Negative Nelly - the league is great and alot of people volunteer alot of time, just bad luck for Garrett in this case. Hopefully that will be corrected sometime in the summer.
