    Area III Allstar game played at Randolph County-Asheboro Wednesday July 6 at 7pm. Listed below are the players that made each team. Game is Northern division vs. Southern Division.

    This is a great event that is in it's 5th year (I think). Please do not get in to negative discussion over who should have and who shouldn't have. There was 10 pitchers chosen and each one will pitch a maximum of 1 inning. Anyone interested in a good fun game come on out to Asheboro on Wednesday night.

    9 innings in the rain....

    Final score was 10-10, game called after 9 innings in the rain.

    A player from the South team won the Home Run Derby but I missed it so I have no other info on it.

    It was a great game with a large fan turnout, even with rain and lightning.
