Well I dont have the whole story, but HP scores gets a few walks in a big 2nd inning, with a hit scoring a couple and then their SS Whitted hits a 2-run HR. Rowan chips away and eventually ties the game in 7th inning. HP scores go ahead run on a passed ball in 8th. Neither crowd like the homeplate umpire's strikezone and because of score, Rowan crowd gave him a hard time most of night. Overall being neutral, it was a great game.

Sorry cant be more specific, HP's starting pitcher did well about 6-7 innings, Thomas Allen started for Rowan and also pitched well (except for that 2nd inning).

wonder who started for High Point. I figured after seven games in eight days they would would have a team full of dead arms. And Whited is a helluva player. I think that's about 14 HR this summer.

Actually, High Point in the second inning had a single, a hit batter, a walk, a ground out to score one, a two run single, then a 2 run home run.

Tyler Britton started for High Point, gave up 5 runs, on 10 hits, with 7-K's, and 2-BB in 5-1/3 innings. Seth Beane came in and pitched the final 3-2/3 innings allowing no runs, on no hits, 3-K's, and 2-BB....
