    Dirtbags 2012

    The chemistry was not there for the 2012 team in Ga. The black team has a lot of talent. I thought they had played good before Cobb. They had lost to a very good Yak West team and that was about it other than the first of the year. I thought they had really become one. That is hard to do with that much talent. It goes to show no matter how much talent you have you have to play the game. But the good thing is that AP keeps on getting players committed and thats a sign the talent level is still there.

    Panthers Over Canes 3-0

    Looking at the Canes Roster and Starting Lineup. That was super win for the SCP team. Box score for the Canes White showed lots of rising Seniors 2012. Big time win for a team of Local Boys going to these PG showcases. Most teams that I researched, these young men are from 3 and 4 and sometimes 5 different states?

    Big Win!

    The 2013 Panthers have had a nice summer. Finished third in Jupiter. Finished 1st(gold) at USA 16U cup and now at least a top 16 finish at WWBA. Looks like some guys have stepped up at East Cobb. Nice win against Canes White. I thought the Panthers had a tough pool and it shows now.

    You say "the chemistry was not there for the 2012 team in Ga.". That is such an overused and trite explanation. Can you explain specifically what you mean? If a team doesn't hit, doesn't pitch and doesn't defend, is that chemistry. I bet their opponents are not describing their wins over the dirtbags as a lack of chemistry by the 'bags. WHAT DO YOU MEAN????:60::60:
    I was there and the just got whupped.

    This is the most information we've received about a showcase tournament all year. With the season winding down, I hope we can get more feedback.

    No doubt the Canes are a great organization, but I don't think someone can make a ranking like the one above at every age group. The are additional premier, top level organizations.

    Let's not overlook the outstanding top 16 finish at the WWBA in Atlanta by the CBC O's Navy 2014 team.

    When you refuse to lose that is a team with chemistry. You dont have to hit but play hard all the time. Bunt, run bases,not make mistakes and you can win. Nothing against the other teams they where good teams and played harder than the Dirtbags and thats why they won. The Dirtbags had some players who had family matters to tend to and got there late. I would condider that to be chemistry. The first game they did not hit but they found away to win. There are some pretty good hitters on this team. You dont always hit but if you play as one you will find away to win.I think you know the best team at least on paper does not win. The teams the Dirtbags played did not compare on paper they just wanted it more. I do not think that any of the teams the Dirtbags played had 10 players going to major D1.
