Congrats to Travis Watkins 2012 Catcher from Cox Mill HS for his commitment to play at North Carolina State University.

I've watched Travis play since he was 9 years old. He's a terrific player and a really fine young man.

    Way to go Travis!

:champagne: Congratulations Travis on your committment to NC State!

My son played showcase ball with Travis and we played against him in the travel ball years, in my opinion State is getting one of the best defensive catchers in the state of NC, who can also swing the stick, great all around kid, proud of you, congrats to you and your mom!

    Congrats !!!!!

Congrats to Travis, his family, along with J D Vidal and the rest of the Cox Mill coaching staff. Being around the Charger program for their first 2 years, it has been my pleasure to watch Trav quite regularly. He is a young man who works as hard at practice as he does in games and he never takes a pitch off. Coach Avent got a quality young man and a helluva ball player.

Good luck at State, but remember, you've got a pretty special senior year coming up first....... :)

    Great job Travis !

Congratulations to a fine young man and one helluva ball player! Shout out to his parents also, great folks who supported Travis the entire way. I coached Travis when he was 7 yrs old and he was always one of those kids you wanted on your team because he was willing to learn, always respectful and loves the game, not to mention his God given talent.
