    500 avg 52-104
    11 hrs
    15 dbl
    41 rbi
    40 runs
    597 obp
    4a state championship series

    these stats are all state worthy, dont understand the selection process

    what do you think?

    Those are GREAT numbers. I would have the player ask his HS head coach. The all state teams is picked by coaches. Playing in the 4A state championship seris he would have to either be form Holly Springs or T. C. Roberson. and no one form Holly Springs had 11 homers. Lot's of big sticks on that Roberson team! I'm not trying to imply anything is below the surface with my next comment but you asked. Since Roberson had 2 players on the list Coach Filipek had the team well represented. The offensive stats are definately All State Class so maybe defense, maybe something else besides offense.

    All state selection process

    Congratulations to all selected!!

    If anyone can share selection criteria, I would love to see it since it seems that a lot of very good players were left out.
