What a way to start the World Series

WOW.....what a game is all anyone could say today at ECU. This game was a nail biter the entire 7 innings as ALL the pitchers were outstanding. We finish with a 0-0 tie to start an action packed day!

Both the Panthers and the Prep Stars got the leadoff batter on in the 7th inning but just like all great heavy weight fights neither team got scared and held tough to not allow a run to score! Great game fellas.

3:30 GAME: South Charlotte Panthers 17u vs Top Prospect Athletics 17u
UPDATE: Panthers just took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 7th. Another fantastic game!

Even though Kinston is the hottest place on earth, as Wadedog says, enjoy getting to play on one of the best surfaces in North Carolina. Coach Stony Wine and his staff have one of the best fields around.

Try any of the local places Down On Main Street (along the waterfront). They are all good. One specifically called Down on Main Street (or something similar....hard to recall, as I always enter from the waterfront side) is a good bet. They may be having one of their famous "Music on Main Street" events this Friday Evening... great crowd, great fun.
