This picture was taken in the summer of 2008 (I believe) and the boys were in the baseball age 14U group. These boys played together for two summers (13U and 14U) under the leadership of head coach Jeff Seager (father of Kyle, Justin and Corey). As I look back it was one of those special teams where the kids were great and got along well, the parents were great and got along well, and we won ball games.

Anyone who has been around travel ball for longer than a week understands how rare it is for those three things to happen EVER. We were lucky and now have seen these boys earn an opportunity to play college baseball - and some have a legit shot at the big dance.

Pictured after a championship game at Dobie Bridge Park in Fort Mill, SC.

    L to R, Back Row:

Travis Watkins (2012) - NC State
    Reilly Hovis (2012) - UNC
    Colby Dishmond (2012) - UNC-Greensboro
    Alex Pridemore (2011) - USC
    Preston Morrison (2011) - TCU
    Trent Thornton (2012) - UNC

    Front Row:
Preston Tiller (2012) - Appalachian State
    Michael Massardo (2012) - UNC
    Spencer Allison (2011)
    Brett Milleman (2013)
    Corey Seager (2012) - USC
    Zeke Daly (2012) - UNC

Fun times - great memories. Don't Blink!!!

    Not Pictured

Other notables not pictured due to injury at the time: Shawn Weber (2011), and Payden Honeycutt (2012). Shawn is playing college ball now and Honeycutt will be committed to somewhere very soon.

I remember those boys. I used to play against them when I was on the Charlotte 49ers under Coach Barry Shiflett.

    Spencer Allison

That's awesome for Spencer. Haven't seen his folks for awhile so I'm glad he has gotten to keep playing the game he loves. I can remember being one of Spencer's LL coaches with my son and those were good times. He's got a lot of passion and a pretty nasty curveball. Good luck to Spencer.
