    Wilson Bulldogs 7 Huntington Hounds 3

    Took in the Bulldogs-Hounds game this morning at Hunt High School. Wilson is loaded with good hitters thru-out their lineup & just swung the wood bats better than Huntington did. Chastin Radford is one of the best lefty hitters I've seen all summer & Parker Lamm is one of the best righty hitters and they bat 1-2 for the Bulldogs. Add in Jimmy Boyd, CJ Bradshaw, Blake Mitchell, & its a tuff lineup to pitch against. Tyler Marshburn pretty much held the Hounds in check for 5 innings, while the Bulldogs took advantage of a costy miscommunication between the left-fielder & shortstop (plated 2) & some careless baserunning by Huntington.

    Bulldogs headed to N.C. Wesleyan where I hear it's raining cats & more dogs. :WE3Rainy03:

    Great effort to pull it off, but wowser.... give the gold to Mother Nature (again).

    Weather delays....

    Just heard from Lenoir Community College Head Coach Stony Wine..."It is raining harder right now than I have seen in a long time." Coach Wine says that baseball is no longer possible at LCC. Canes GM Jeff Petty pulls the trigger and is bringing the match-up from LCC to ECU, for the South Charlotte Panthers 16U and Rock Solid 16U to finish their game in 5 innings. The Panthers lead Rock Solid 3 to 2 going in to the top of the fourth...

    At the same time the Wilson Bulldogs and SBA Charlotte Hurricanes are now in route to Mt. Olive College. Head Coach Carl Lancaster has come through big time and offers his field to the Canes Organization to help out after all the storms have blown up all over the radar in eastern NC. Hopefully the Bulldogs and Hurricanes can get their game in down in pickle land!!!!

    She wins again...

    Mother nature will be taking home both plaques this year from the Dynamic Baseball's World Series. Rain has done in all the fields in Eastern NC. Time to pack up and head to the house...

    Rich,

    SOUTH JERSEY SAND SHARKS 17U the 8 seed were about to finish off the upset of the tournament. Up 5 to 4 against the 1 seed South Charlotte Panthers 17U with bases loaded in the top of the 9th one out lightning/ heavy rain stopped game and we decided to start our 9 hr ride home dropping out. Playing under the international tie breaker rules we looked in good shape for an upset then the sky opened up and stopped the game

    8 seed south jersey sand sharks vs 1 seed south charlotte panthers

    SOUTH JERSEY SAND SHARKS COME WITHIN A LIGHTNING BOLT OF UPSETTING PANTHERS UP 5 TO 4 IN THE TOP OF NINTH LIGHTNING AND RAIN STOP GAME. SAND SHARKS DROP OUT AND START THEIR 9 HR RIDE HOME.:sick:
