SC Panthers 2013 / SC Panthers 2014 Try Outs

    The SC Panthers will be holding try outs for the upcoming fall 2011 season.

    When: Friday August 12 12:00n - 2:00p

    Where: Charlotte Christian School. Charlotte, NC

    What: Open Try Outs for limited spots on the SCP 2013 team for the fall season and future.
    Open Try Outs for a new SCP 2014 team to begin play in the fall 2011 season and future.

    Would like to know if these are really tryouts or if you have to be invited. I have heard that multiple players from other teams have already been offered spots without the tryout.

    Certainly Coach Hutchins is plugged in to the "who's who" of players, but he hasn't seen everybody (I know, I know...maybe he has.) But from what I gather this is being done in conjunction with Showcase Baseball Academy--very successful in their own right--coached by Jake Robbins. I may be wrong, but I believe SCP is expanding their number of teams.

    If that is the case and if you are an excellent player, then the tryouts will be worth your time and effort.

    Point provided for me in other post.......Canes and CBC kids. Most, if not all of whom were offered spots pre-tryout and during their season with their current teams.
