    Core Athletics will be holding tryouts for our fall teams on Aug 20th at NW Cabarrus HS at 12pm. We have a few spots on each team. Please email [email protected] to get registering information or with questions.

    Derek Shoe added as College Placement Director

    Core Athletics is excited to have Derek Shoe join our showcase program to work with our players in finding the best fit in their college search. Derek has coached at Pfeiffer and Concord HS. He currently coaches the Lake Norman Copperheads collegiate team in the SCBL. His contacts with the college coaches from the SCBL team will greatly benefit our players as they form the best direction for their talents and establish goals to meet their long term plans. Derek has been entrenched in our baseball community for last ten years with a heart for baseball players and a broad perspective for college player abilities. He will be continuing to develop East Coast Bats (wood bats made here locally) and moving forward with team apparel/printing company.

    Great pick up for Core Athletics. I had the pleasure of meeting and competing against Derek in the SCBL this year. Class coach and great guy. Congrats Derek.

    Derrick is a smart and fiery coach. My son loved the short time he played for Derrick.
