    Can somebody in the know explain what is going on with these two organizations? Lots of different stories flying around. From Panthers folding into Canes to Panthers taking over canes as kind of a farm team. thanks.

    I believe some boys from the 2014 Canes teams will make up Don's new 2014 SCP team with additions coming from last weeks tryouts at Charlotte Christian. Just a guess, but the 2013 and 2012 teams for each organization will remain intact with your usual fall turnover due to football commitments.

    Bulldog, pretty good observation. You must be really in the in the know. My family is pretty much in there and if I thought anything I would never say, because only Don , Jake and John really know what is gonna take place. All I know is that if your son is playing on these teams it is a good thing.

    I don't want to post anything that is not for public knowledge, but perhaps Don or Jake will. I can say this, there are some great coaches involved.

    I'm just guessing from an observation, just my opinion, just what this board is for - discussion, opinion and hearsay.... Quality organizations with great intentions for the future of their ballplayers.

    Something interesting going on here.........???

    I visited the Panthers web site yesterday. The newly formed 2014 team roster was posted. I can say some of the names I remember if appropriate. Later yesterday, it was no longer on the SCP website.

    I saw it too was almost all kids from the Canes class of 2014 that were playng up on Canes 2013 Black team.

    its back up looks like most came from the Canes and 5 from CBC

    Happens every year from cbc and on-deck(now together) alot of it has to do with cost,
