Queen City Spirit 16U Showcase Tryouts

Thank you to all the girls who attended our try-outs Sunday. You did a fantastic job and we have filled most of our spots. We are still looking for one or two additional "A" pitchers to complete our rotation.

Our teams exemplify positive attitudes, teamwork and sportsmanship. Our coaching emphasizes consistent reinforcement of fundamental skills resulting in continuous improvement. Our players are committed to practicing hard, playing at the highest level and having fun in the process.

Head Coach Bryan Baker is a former assistant coach at Belmont Abbey College and currently coaches in the Gaston County School System. He has many years of experience coaching tournament softball and has evaluated college talent. We believe that he has the experience and knowledge to lead our players to success in High School competition and through the college recruitment process.

This team of mostly 1996 birthdays is looking to fill several key positions especially additional “A” level pitchers, catchers, infielders, and speedy outfielders. We will consider some ’95 and talented ‘97 birthdays. Tournament level experience is a must.

Palmetto Sting 12U/14U

The Palmetto Sting is looking to add players to both of our 12U teams and both 14U teams for the 2011-2012 season. The Palmetto Sting currently has 8 teams ranging from 10U-18U. We work on developing our players to ultimately play for our 18U team who is coached by Ellie Hanover(Belmont Abbey College Head Coach) and our 16U team coach is Dana Catchpole(Former D1 Player). Charlotte Starz Gold Showcase

The Charlotte Starz Gold Showcase would like to add 1 - 2 additional experienced A-level travel ball players to our fall roster. With 10 outstanding athletes already committed, this is a limited opportunity for young ladies who have a strong desire to play in college and are looking for a great environment to prepare them for that chance.

This team was originally established in 2007 and has a roster comprised of elite 1996 and 1997 rising freshmen from all over the greater Charlotte metro area. We have consistently been one of the top teams in the Carolinas, winning 130 games (.667 winning %) in the last two years alone. Our practice facility is centrally located at James Martin Middle School off of IBM Drive in the University area of Charlotte.

Our 8 tournament fall schedule begins on August 27th in Spartanburg and continues through mid-November. We will bring the team back together next May near the end of their high school seasons in preparation for a busy summer 2012 schedule.

We are looking for great athletes who love the game of softball and are not recruiting for specific positions. We would consider a top-tier pitcher to join our current two-girl rotation.

Family looking for Fastpitch travel ball information for our 11 year old daughter. She is a catcher playing on a 12u league team in Morganton, NC. She has played for 6 years and is now wanting to move into a competitive atmosphere for greater experience. [FONT=&quot]Team TFS 18u and 16u is looking for travel ball experienced athletes to join our organization that can contribute to the team and improve their skills. 18u and 16u is looking for athletes that are versatile, and 16u is looking for 1 or 2 pitchers that are 2014, 2015, or the right 2016 graduate. If you feel that you are a experienced travel ball player or high-level athlete and want to play for one of the top organizations in NC, improve your skills, and prepare to play at the next level, Team TFS may be the organization for you.[/FONT]

Team TFS is an elite level softball organization with 2-10u teams, 16u, & 18u. Our teams include young ladies from the entire state of North Carolina and we currently practice in the Raleigh/Durham area since it is a centralized location for majority of players. Playing for Team TFS provides fast pitch players a comprehensive benefit package available from any tournament travel program. For the serious softball athlete who wants to expand their horizons beyond local tournaments, Team TFS can provide the opportunity and give players national exposure and experience.

Thirty of those players competed for Team TFS and directly received scholarships or offers to play at all levels of NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA. NC CHALLENGERS 18U TRYOUTS - Sunday, Aug. 21

NC Challengers 18U Renzi will have a tryout for 2-3 open positions on our roster on SUNDAY, AUGUST 21 at 2:00PM at Leesville Road HS. Positions of current need are: pitcher, catcher, and middle infield/outfield utility, but all positions will be considered. We are looking for strong players with dedicated attitudes towards improving their skill set and playing softball collegiately.
