A HEADS UP FOR THE NEW 2014 PLAYERS.........AND PARENTS

Parents from current and previous SCP's teams have some constructive advice for 2014 new players from CBC and Canes: " You must leave your superiority complexes and attitudes with your old teams behind; there is no room for non team-players on a coach Hutchins squad."
And a word to players' parents. "You can no longer talk your son's way into more playing time by bending Coach's ear." They must earn it. Oh, and one more thing: "Tell your sons that sulking doesn't work either.".....

Coach has high standards and plays no favorites....EVER.

Oh,....... and Welcome to the best organization and team east of the Mississippi... and maybe west too!!!

You're not trying to take "brown-nosing" out of baseball are you?

 

Works at O'S just look at rosters and it is crystal clear. also helps if you mommy and daddy meet w staff a threaten to leave. It is a shame that baseball at this level is pay to play. Except at panthers

 

This is one of the most exciting things to happen for travel/showcase baseball in the Charlotte area.
Showcase Baseball Academy(SBA) is the baseball training facility of the formerly known as Charlotte Hurricanes(now SBA Canes). The SC Panthers started workng out at SBA last fall. Just recently the SC Panthers have merged with SBA to become the SBA Panthers. SBA now has two groups SBA Canes and SBA Panthers. The SBA has teams from 8-18u(travel teams and showcase teams).

It's a shame there is bad blood between SBA Canes and CBC. It should be about the kids and not the organizations or adults.
