    How bout the foul ball call when the ball hit 3rd base? Or the strike 3 calls when he ball was scraping the dirt. The umps are wanting to be seen to.

    Sir (Shutout18), you SO exaggarate....

    If you want to be believeable, state the FACTS. Not one of the strike calls scraped the dirt. Close, but they did not strike the ground.
    Get it right man!!...:60::60::60::60:
    Methinks you are the guy in the stands who is always yelling "come on, Blue".

    That ball didn't hit 3rd base. It defied all the laws of physics, gravity, etc & just appeared to hit the base. It may have hit an unseen rock before hopping over the base. I'm sure there's a logical explanation why the ump made that call.:thud:

    Back to the tournament, the only problem Ive seen with the LL tournament is IMO the 2 teams from Montana and Mexico got the short end.

    They had the international teams in one division and it was double elimination, Mexico goes thru undefeated while Japan had 1 loss, but because Mexico lost today, they are out?

    Same for Montana, they ran the table on the US side, but because their one and only loss was today, they are out?

    I wish they had one more day (in fact there were no games yesterday, Friday) and it would be truly a double elim tournament if Japan had to beat Mexico again,,,,,, and Calif had to beat Montana again. Just my 2 cent.
