14U AAU Spring Points Champions moving UP! Looking for a few more for SHOWCASE TEAM!!

The Carolina Hit-N-Run is proud to announce the formation of our new 16U showcase team! Our 2011 season has been a tremendous success for our 14U team, winning the AAU Spring Points Championship. Now, this team is moving up to 16U. We already have a strong group of core players. We are looking to add a few committed players with positive attitudes to our roster. The players should be able to play at a level that will allow them to be successful at high "A" level tournaments and showcases. Perspective players should be beginning their freshman or sophomore year of High School.
This is a long term opportunity when joining our team/organization. Our organization’s goal is to provide a path for players to follow, so that they can achieve their goal of playing at the College level. Our organization has a very high success rate of putting players into College’s in this region. This showcase team will play 16u tournaments this Fall, including showcase tournaments where players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills at this level. Our desire is to play an aggressive mixture of high level local tournaments as well as showcase tournaments in NC and neighboring states starting in the Spring of 2012. The Carolina Hit-N-Run organization is based in Hickory, North Carolina and currently have a 10U,12U,14U,16U, and an 18U elite team. We practice at various fields in the Hickory area and also have an indoor facility.

All positions will be considered, but we are mostly looking for a few specific positions. We need a catcher, experienced 'A' level pitcher, and possibly a utility player with speed (slapper would be a plus) that does not mind playing in the outfield.

Experienced Player looking for a Showcase Team

Daughter is looking for a showcase team for this fall and beyond. She is an experienced catcher, plays first and third well, and has experience at all other positions. She also pitches, which is a work in progress, but can give you some good relief if needed. She bats and throws right handed. We are looking for a team where daddy ball is not played and politics are left to the folks in Washington. Looking for a team where fundamentals of the game are stressed. She has a 96 birthdate and made All County and All Conference as a freshman this past year. We live in Salisbury and would like to stay within an hour drive, but will consider further for the right situation.
