Baseballcoach229- Kocher, Ford and Chapman are all top notch players....just haven't had a chance to prove themselves over the course of a season the way those on the list have. Any coach would love to have those 3 though, that's for sure.
Not sure who you were talking about at Central though - no kid named Furr that plays at Central and those that have in the past aren't pitchers.
Going to be an interesting year in the SPC --- lot of talent!

Thanks Coach Knight, who was the lefty pitcher who threw a no hitter for you in the spring at central? What was his name, thought it was Furr. Ford is hitting 88-91 with fb and 84-86 with nasty curve. Kocher, Chapman, and Ford all belong on the list and I'm sure there are a few more. Alot of good players in tht SPC.

Coach Knight, Garret Freeze, is the player and not Furr. Freeze is the lefty that had the no hitter for you in the spring. I stand corrected. Thanks

Yep, Freeze is a good one. Has definite potential as he gets bigger and stronger - only a sophomore last season.
Plenty of talent at Central right now - definitely not the time to leave, but had to make a tough decision.
    Good luck this season.

    Southern Carolina Conference

Tyler Chadwick- Marvin Ridge- SR (pitcher, 3B)
Ryan Smith- Sun Valley- SR (Pitcher, IF, and a knack for getting key hits)
Jordan Watts- Sun Valley- JR (1B, pitcher)
Payden Huneycutt- Wedd-SR (SS 3 year V starter)
Chase Prillaman- Wedd- SR (2B 3 year V starter)
Andrew Knight- Wedd- SR (C 2 year V starter)
Alexander Bostic- Wedd- JR (OF, Pitcher, V starter Fr/ SO seasons)
Jeremy Schellhorn- Wedd- JR (3B, 1B, Pitcher, V starter Fr/So seasons)

Lots of very talented SR's graduated last June, but the well is not empty for the conference. Weddington returns 6 position starters from last years squad. They should be real good this spring.

Does any one know the Goodman kid at Northwest could very well be top ten hitter in spc use to be a good power and gap to gap guy also played really good defence at 1st . Told he didnt play last year because of a torn acl. Will he be back this year

Jordan Goodman. Has recovered from the ACL and looks very good at the plate. Great hands and a very good eye and will be a good bat in the middle of the Northwest lineup this coming year. And even better he is a great kid. Another kid that could help Northwest is Joey Hagl could help in the pitching area and is swinging the bat pretty good right now.

Heard "through the grapevine" J.T. Ford won't be playing this year. If true and if he is as good as I have heard it will be a big loss for Hickory Ridge.

Sent you a P.M.- I think. If you did not get it let me know as sometimes my computer "skills" are suspect.
