Situation: Middle or High school baseball (or softball) and the game is played on field with no lights. Home team is up by one run over visitor with one inning to play. Next inning starts and visitor goes up by 12 runs, and bats around, but darkness comes before the final out of the home team's at bat, who is still losing by 12.

Ruling: Game reverts back to previous complete inning, and home team declared the winner?

Yes, it could. But I imagine that game would be suspended.

in high school the game would be suspended once the visiting team took the lead. if the 7th would have never started it could have been a complete game. happened to me a couple years ago in the playoffs so we definately checked all the angles.
