Mallory Broome (aka Goose) – A 2012 pitcher from Metrolina Christian Academy signed her NLI to play softball at Western Carolina University.
Signing date: Nov.10 at MCA at 11:30

Mallory helped lead the Warriors to their first ever regular season conference and tournament championship in 2011 and four straight trips to
the NCISAA 2A State Playoffs finishing as the 2A State runner-ups last year.

Mallory is a 2-year captain, a Metrolina Athletic All-Conference player for five years (since 7th grade), an NCISAA All-State player for three years
and most recently was honored as MCA’s school winner for the 2011 Wendy’s High School Heisman.

Mallory is the school record leader in home runs, RBI’s and most wins. Her record is 43 and 11 from the circle with a .85 ERA. Mallory reached two
milestones in her Junior year - She recorded her 100th high school career hit and surpassed 600 strikeouts.

We (mom & dad) are very proud of Mallory for her accomplishments and the way she approaches the game and things in life. I am so thankful
for being able to coach Mallory all these years, spending as much time as possible with her and watching her grow into the fine young lady she is
    today.

Mallory has played with and against some of the best. As I see all of the players committing/signing to continue their softball career, the Class
of 2012 will be fun to watch. I wish every one of the young ladies much success as they will soon move into another chapter of their lives.

We would like to say thank you for all the great comments, texts, and phone calls congratulating Mallory on her decision. We would like to thank
Jeff Stovall and the parents of the Magic White for all the support you have shown Mallory. She has totally enjoyed the past two years with her
travel team and speaking as a parent, those memories are priceless.
