It will be good to see my buddy, Air Force: Mark Crocco. I hope he can find his way back from Colorado!

A lot of Big Time Schools representing; just like the previous four years, I expect a great turnout from the players and the coaches attending. I hope Coach Hall from Winthrop makes it---it will be like old times. Crocco, Hall, Woodard and JRatt...wow, I can celebrate with those guys! If Coach Gregory at Wingate can't make it, I'll fill in for him

    TBRockers,

Those of us who love the game of baseball grew up imagining playing for our favorite big league team first and any big league team that would be happy to have us second. Current players should never stop dreaming and working to achieve such a dream. As a former major league player I am the first to say your sights should be set on the goal of playing in college first and foremost. The odds of playing collegiately are far greater than ever playing professionally.

Over the past four years we, Champions Baseball Academy, formerly known as CBC, have held a collegiate coaches skills camp that has brought the top collegiate programs in our region to our facility. The objective for the players attending this camp is to learn from the college coaches, be exposed to the teachings and styles of different college coaches and have the opportunity to meet and talk with them as well. This camp has proven to be a valuable learning tool and has brought a tremendous amount of attention to the players attending. A list of committed colleges is available at the website.

As an organization we pride ourselves on being a conduit to the collegiate level. We have built a large network between ourselves and the college ranks. Our organization and staff is highly respected by collegiate coaches across the country. Our knowledge and dedication has proven to be a valuable tool for many players across the Mid-Atlantic and to the collegiate coaching ranks as well.

The Collegiate Coaches Skills Camp is a unique opportunity because of the number of collegiate coaches (20+) and major league scouts (10+) in one facility. This is an open camp for all 2013-2015 players as well as the uncommitted 2012 players. If you have attended before, you know the strength of this camp. If you have not, don’t wait to register as the camp will fill up.

    Don't miss out.

Having just returned from the national ABCA meetings in California we can tell you that the College coaches are excited about this camp.

There are still a few spots open for this weekend but they are filling fast. We will cut off registration when we reach capacity.

Pitchers---do not wait until next week to sign up!!

    5 spots left!

This weekend is going to be a sold out event. Are you in?

If you are a pitcher or catcher don't wait this late going into next week. Still have plenty of spots available for then, but it too will fill up.

Looking forward to having Chad Holbrook from South Carolina here to speak to the kids then.

Are the catchers being evaluated with the pitchers or were they this past weekend, reading what was posted above is a little confusing seeing that the pitchers would need catchers to throw too, but the outline has catchers with OF.

How did things go this past weekend

Were there lots of college coaches

    Any changes for next week

Things went very well this past weekend. 25 college coaches, two MLB organizations and the ML Scouting bureau were here. We had kids from 6 states and many different organizations here too.

Catchers were presented with a full agenda of instruction, hitting, blocking, throwing, footwork and pop times. That being said, you are correct, we do need someone to catch the pitchers. We have invited the catchers who attended the opportunity to come back this coming weekend. However, we have also decided to add some openings for any catchers who did not make it this past weekend.

If you still want to come as a catcher please go to the site and register as we will run all the catchers through another full agenda.

Only changes for this coming week is that we will have a few different schools represented including Chad Holbrook from USC speaking to the group on Saturday.
