Carolina Angels 18U

    We’d like to announce that the 18U Carolina Angels have completed our work and are now moving on to the next phase of softball life. This team started off as a group of 8 and 9 year olds who didn’t come close to winning a game for the entire first year. But dedicated families, great coaches, hard work, and lots of fun pay off. We’ve got 4 NSA/ASA State Championship trophies from 10U thru 18U and have 10 of our 18U players playing or signed to play in college – not bad for an individual team. But the real success stories of the Angels are the great friends and memories we’ve made along the way.

    We’d like to take a minute to thank our Coaches: Michael Kidd, Blue Baker, and Janiva Willis. You all have taught our girls so much more than just softball skills, each in your own way. They’ve learned what it takes to be successful, and that it can be fun along the way! The respect you’ve earned from the players, parents, tournament directors and college coaches is well deserved.

    A special thanks to the tournament directors that we’ve worked with over the last 10 years, especially Coleman Elliott, Chuck Laney, David Harris, Ric McHone and Sharyn Chandler. You have always provided our team with great tournaments, and we appreciate all of the hard work that goes into these.

    It’s hard to believe it – but our work is complete. Thanks again Carolina Angels – it’s been a great ride!

    Great Job!!!

    I hate to hear that. It has always been a pleasure to have ya'll playing with us and along side us.
    We have shared some memorable moments as well.
    The Carolina Angels will surely be missed.

    We have only been a part of this team for a couple of years and the coaches as well as the families were without a doubt nothing short of awesome!
    As stated above, Michael, Blue and Janiva did an outstanding job but it should be recognized that Jodi and Sam deserve a HUGE thank you as well. While the coaches kept thing running smooth on the field, managing a team of this caliber can be a tall task and Jodi and Sam did an outstanding job. You two are a true a class act!

    Thank you very much for the wonderful experience over the past two years!

    Great job

    It is hard work running a team and getting the kids on the right stage to be successful, you and your coaches deserve credit for sure but you obviously have great talent and got them to work together for benefit of all! Girls what a wonderful record over the years and may college be all you desire!
