    With kanwj's permission on this thread we could just list a Who's Who of pitchers. Or we could start a separate thread.

    Anyone wanting to argue with a Who's Who is just wanting to argue.

    Along the same lines, I'd like to know of incoming freshman at other key positions that people think will have a big year.

    Crest High's Emily Kale 2013 (21-5 2011). Lead Crest back to Raleigh last season after losing 6 starters from State Runner-Up the year before.

    Karley Harkey, North Iredell. Kid has pitched some HUGE games for the Raiders over the past 3 years and the bigger the game the better she performs. I'll take her on my team any day.

    Radel is the real deal, ...in the same class with all those top record holders in the record book! If she had a few folks behind her who could catch and throw, she would not be beatable at the high school level, even vs. AC/ND type teams. Lets hope her teammates this year have improved their skills a little.

    Gotta go with K.Harkey-N.Iredell
    K.Williford-NW Cabarrus.
    Watched Harkey and my kid go at it for 3 yrs,some of the best pitching duels in the conference. Williford -this kid gets better everytime I see her pitch.KW has played with Cardinals-Chandler thru the past 2 summers against some of the best in the nation,she has grown by leaps and bounds.Nothing against the other young ladies mentioned,I just have seen these two pitch a great deal.
