Just as a reminder of Comets 16u Tryout.
Carolina Comets 16u will be holding tryouts on Saturday, Feb. 4 @ Lake Norman High School from 1:00 to 4:00. Rain date if required will be Sunday, Feb. 5 from 1:00 to 4:00. If you would like to take your game to the next level of play, then you are looking at the correct place.

18u middle needed

We are currently looking for a middle to complete our roster. We practice in Gaffney South Carolina just below Gastonia on I85. We are playing 6 tournaments that include 2 cardinal, the dynamite in columbia, asa memorial day showcase in Spartanburg, the 18u state and one other trophy fun trny before our kids head off to college. Carolina Curve Showcase Team

The Carolina Curve Showcase Team is looking for two players to round out their 2012 roster. Our specific need is a speedy OF/2B player and a good bat (slapper is fine). The ability, dedication and desire to play at the Collegiate level is a must. We are playing a rigorous summer schedule starting early June in prominent showcase events such the Dynamite(Columbia,SC), The Atlanta Legacy in GA and the Cardinal Series Showcases in NC & SC as well ASA State, Regional and possibly National events. All in an effort to provide the players with extensive local and regional exposure to College coaches and recruiters. ***10U Mavericks - Looking for Two More Players***

The 10U Mavericks are looking for two more players. Utility and/or pitching experience is preferred. We are heading into our second season and looking to add two more players to our roster. If your daughter has a passion for the game, is aggressive and ready to join a great group of girls, we would like to hear from you! We have a core group returning for the Spring Season. The Mint Hill Mavericks Fastpitch Travel Ball Program is a sister organization to the Mint Hill Athletic Association, and offers talented travel ball players the benefits of a well known athletic organization. Our facilities are top notch and owned by our organization. No bouncing from location to location or last minute changes to practice schedules due to field availability. We offer 3 lighted fields, 2 lighted pitching lanes, 2 lighted batting cages, 6 soft toss stations and all the equipment necessary to practice and play the way a well trained team should. Our coaches are dedicated to one thing and one thing only...to improve our player's skill levels, knowledge of the game and prepare them for their next level.

 

14U NC Challengers

We have an opening on our roster and are looking for a strong player with a 97 or 98 birthday, catching experience would be a plus. This team is comprised of mostly 97 birthdays and will be playing at the 14U "A" level to include a trip to the ASA Eastern Nationals this summer and then move to 16u/Showcase in the Fall. Team TFS is looking for travel ball experienced athletes that come from solid and committed families to join our organization. We are looking for dedicated players that are committed to working just as hard away from team functions as they do at team functions.

Team TFS 18u has 2 2012 pitchers and is looking for 1 or 2 2013-2015 pitchers to play with previous 18u or 16u showcase experience and/or the right skill level. Both pitchers will be expected to contribute this summer and prepare to tote all of the pitching duties in the fall. If you feel that you are a experienced travel ball pitcher or high-level athlete and want to play for one of the top organizations in NC, improve your skills, and prepare to play at the next level, Team TFS may be the organization for you.

Team TFS is looking for the right, established 16u team to join our organization for 2012. The right team can move into our organization which has an established name, years of experience, and the ability to benefit all involved. We currently have a gap between our 14u team and our 18u team that we would like to fill before the 2012 summer. A younger 16u team would be a better fit and keep in alignment with our current 14u and 18u teams. Team TFS can help the team with preparing for a competitive showcase schedule, acceptance into certain showcases, and the start of the recruiting process.

Team TFS 14u is looking for a travel ball experienced pitcher or a pitcher with a definitive skill set already. We are also looking for 1 qualified athlete that does not have to be a pitcher and has prior travel ball experience. The team practices in the Research Triangle Park and Burlington area.

Team TFS is looking for a 12u team to join our organization for 2012. The right team can move into our organization which has an established name, years of experience, and the ability to benefit all involved. We currently have a couple players who could potentially add to the team as well. An older 12u team would be a better fit and keep in alignment with our current 14u and 10u teams. Team TFS can help the team with preparing for the journey into competitive and elite level fastptich, access to the knowledge of 55+ combined years of experienced coaches, and a developed and structured organization that will benefit all committed players and families in the long run.

Both Team TFS 10u teams are currently full at this time, but if you would like to be placed on our waiting list to be notified if a spot becomes available please contact. Both teams are based in the Triad area, but have players from a couple different areas of the state.

Team TFS is starting an 8u team for 2012. We are looking for players and families that are ready to start their softball journey. We currently have 7 committed players and are looking for 4-5 more. The current committed players are centralized in the Burlington/Mebane area. The team has access to practice facilities in the Burlington/Mebane area, as well as Research Triangle Park. Can adjust practice location based on players homes or rotate if need be. The major focus of the team will be development of skills and playing in a handful of tournaments this year.

Team TFS is an elite level softball organization that has been in existence since 2005. Our teams include young ladies from across North Carolina and our teams are based along the I-85/I-40 corridor from Raleigh to Greensboro. Playing for Team TFS provides fast pitch players a comprehensive benefit package available from any tournament travel program. For the serious softball athlete who wants to expand their horizons beyond unestablished/unexperienced teams or organizations, then Team TFS may be the organization for you. Team TFS can provide the right balance of competitiveness and skill development at the younger age groups and the opportunity for national exposure and experience at 16u and 18u.

The Team TFS organization has officers and coaches at 18u/16u, 14u, and 10u levels with 55+ years of combined experience at travel ball, NCAA DI level, and competitive sports. Our 18/16u showcase teams play true, competitive, and high college coach ratio showcase tournaments across the country.

Over 100 NCAA Division I college coaches witnessed Team TFS games in 2011.

Over 50 players have received assistance from Team TFS in regards to recruiting and development. Over thirty of those players competed for Team TFS directly and received scholarships or offers to play at all levels of NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA. Over twenty of those players accepted or had the opportunity to play at the NCAA DI level.
