Hard to believe these guy's are only Juniors. They have all have been playing at a high level since their Freshman year. Should be an exciting group to watch.

Some I got to see over the summer.....

If you're talking mallard Creek, I think you need to discuss Kirk Morgan(ECU). Nice footwork in the MIF with a nice bat and good speed.
How about Alexander Bostic (Clemson) or Jeremy Schellhorn(UNCC) from Weddington HS. Both will be playing a big role in the pitching rotation and I have seen Schellhorn hit the heck out of the ball at a number of events.
Lastly, Colby Barnette (UNC) from Piedmont. I really haven't seen him pitch, but he's got a nice bat with some good speed.
NOW, before anybody says anything....these are all SCPanthers and that is why I had the opportunity watching them as they would play up with the older boys on the Panthers during some of the events. Not taking anything away from anybody else in Charlotte.
Outside of the Panthers I think you need to take a look at Andrew Hendel. A strong LHP, in addition to carrying a strong bat for Cuthbertson HS. With 3 games per week, I think we'll see Andrew playing a larger role in our pitching rotation this year.
These are just some of the boys I have been able to watch over the last summer.

HOTCORNER#33 came close to naming the top juniors (class of 2013) about to take the field for this High School season. In all reality, and to say it with fewer words I believe that each and every one of the sixteen South Charlotte Panthers (2013) roster players could be on the list of top juniors. Once again, way to go Coach Don. You not only have the unique ability to pick 'em, but you have the skills to coach 'em up.:excl::excl::excl::excl::excl::excl::excl::excl:

Kenny Palmer OF - Charlotte Stealth and Sun Valley
Andrew Hendel P - Charlotte Stealth and Weddington?
Zach Blayloc C - CBC and Myers Park
    Justin Strong - E Meck

Not sure if any of these guys have sogned nor if they want to play in college.

Side note seems to be ALOT of very good players that could certainly play in college are deciding not to play either because they dont want the commitment or want to go to Chapel Hill/Duke/Wake etc and dont make the cut to play at these school but could certainly play elsewhere.....
