East will be solid , they have the most talent in the NPC . Carson has some good young talent & could make some noise . West Iredell has the returning conference player of the year and is a playoff team . After that , who knows ? North Iredell has a good coach now and they will come to play . South Rowan is okay , but who will be in the rotation ? West Rowan lost one of there best players (transfered) have a great #1 pitcher , but after that extremley thin . Statesville is Statesville , in baseball !

Who was the West Rowan player that transferred and where did he go? Who is their ace? Is the W. Iredell player Sam Laws?

Matt Miller is still pitching at South. He's as good as anyone in the area. They also have a good young catcher, but I can't remember his name.

Sorry about forgetting South Rowan's Matt Miller ( thought he graduated ) . SR's catcher is Eric Tyler and he is a very good hitter and has a good arm . West Rowan's ace is also named Matt Miller ! He has a great curve when he is on . Taylor Garczynski , who started as a Freshman & Soph has transfered to Davie County . West Iredell's Sean Grant plays 1B/OF and pitches . I am pretty sure that he was the conference player of the year .

I was kind of suprised that East wasn't ranked in the preseason poll. Robbins is as good as anyone when he pitches, but to do anything in the playoffs Alex Bost, Jared Mathis, or someone else has to emerge as a dominant #2 and #3 pitcher. The SPC is very tough 1-4 and the NPC will probably draw them in the early rounds of states

    My thoughts...

    1. East
    2. Carson
    3. South
    4. W. Iredell
    5. W. Rowan
    6. N. Iredell
    7. Statesville

Exactly. Anytime your not sure about HS baseball, just go with coaching. Brian Hightower (ER) and Chris Cauble (Carson) are 2 of the best HS coaches in the area, period.
