2 Alumni Receive Collegiate Honors

    Preston Morrison (2011 O's - Cuthbertson HS) and Alex Jensen (2011 O's - Charlotte Catholic) both received honors this week after outstanding performances last weekend.

    Morrison was named Pitcher of the Week in the Mountain West Conference. Preston won his first game for TCU retiring all 10 batters he faced in a 5-3 win over Ole Miss.

    Jensen was named Rookie of the Week in the Patriot League. Alex went 4-5 swinging the bat and starting at SS for West Point vs. High Point this past weekend.

    Wow, congrats to those two young men!! Sounds like two guys that were prepared for college baseball. Keep it up!!

    Congrats again to the Jensens on Alex's big weekend!! He's such a special kid. Although I was unable to get there, it was great to hear that there was a big Charlotte Catholic contingent in attendance at High Point. Go get 'em AJ!!

    P-Mo Loving some TEXAS CHRISTIAN

    Gotta love Preston Morrison getting some love down in God's Country.

    This is an example of never give up, never say never. P-Mo went to East Cobb and pitched against a couple of teams from Texas while some scouts from TCU were watching. They were there to see the opponent and found a diamond gem.

    The system works. Advice for anyone in the recruiting game now ... when they show up, play good.
