    Wingate Bulldogs

Our son, Olen Little, got his first collegiate start tonight at Francis Marion, two days after his 20th birthday. He pitched 7 scoreless innings, giving up only 3 hits while striking out 7. He left with a 1-0 lead and the bullpen made the score stick. We are so very proud of him. Way to go Olen! :SCA+HL:

Great Job Olen. Wingate sorely needed that pitching performance

How about those East Meck Eagle Alums!

On same day former teammate Lou Trosch tosses 6 2/3 of scoreless to run his scoreless inning streak to 13 in a Greensboro College win.

I am so glad that Olen got a start. His "bulldog" mentality fits him perfectly as a starter.....and beating Francis Marion is not a walk in the park. Congrats Big O...I'm pulling for ya!

Outstanding!!!!! Lou has the makeup and the "pitchability" to be successful at the next level. He fully understands that to be successful at the next level you must learn to make hitters swing at your pitch. Lou had learned this a long time ago.
