Ally Yeager, 2012 grad of Hickory Ridge High School, and 3 year member of the Lady Blues Elite, has committed to attend and play softball for Northwest Florida State College. NWFSC, located in the panhandle city of Niceville, is an NJCAA D1 junior college program, that perennially ranks as one of the top 20 national programs in the nation. Head coach, Jack Byerley (former asst. coach @ Auburn) is thrilled to get such an outstanding individual, as well as athlete in Ally.

For the last 3 years, Ally has been a huge part of the success of the Lady Blues Elite. She constantly excels, works hard to improve, and never gives anything but 100% on the field. Ally's tenacious fortitude has allowed her to overcome the fact that she was only born with one hand. Most teams are not even aware of Ally's disability (which in her case is not a disability at all) till shaking hands after games.

During the 2011 high school season, was awarded the Most Valuable Player award for her conference. She even hit for the cycle in one game, and that same week hit another over the fence home run.

Rich and Lorrane, we know that you are very proud of Ally, and you should be. You guys have don't an absolutely fantastic job in raising such an amazing young lady. We wish you all well, and can't wait to hear about the exploits and accomplishment of Ally at the next level and beyond.

Best wishes from your Lady Blues family!

She will learn a lot from Coach Byerly at NWFS, he has a wealth of knowledge about the game of softball. He has coached at many levels from JUCO, DII and in the SEC. He also does a great job helping his kids move on after NWFS.

I wish her the best of luck and congratulate her on the great opportunity to play for a great coach and program.
