    so much for the argument that only Providence and AK get attention from the Observer. Sergio Yavar wrote a great article abou a great start for Mallard Creek and particularily Kayden Krause. I have known Kayden and family since 1st grade. he is a great kid and a very hard worker(and is fluent in French thanks to Smith Academy). Keep it up Kayden!

    You beat me to the punch! Yep, that is the kind of baseball reporting that is needed throughout the Observer coverage area. There are numerous programs that play good baseball and are working hard...let's see if the Observer can sustain their early season efforts...

    For the record....

    And not that it matters - but the SM/AK game was not even a box score in the paper today. I highly recommend the Observer hire Mincmi on a contract for baseball season. His write ups here and on the SW4A conference website are well written and always on target.

    If it isnt basketball or football (that langston wurst LOVES) the observer will only provide minimal coverage.......sad

    LOLLIE, I am going to this one..

    How do you break it down?
    I am guessing with the recent coming out of Krause and Dennis that MC might make it a game. Otherwise, all my money goes on NWC.

    Both teams should be able to plate more than a few runs being non conf. I'll give a small edge to the Trojans because of the depth of their hitting.
