This was a big game between undefeated teams in the MAC. Here is a link to the article. N Buncombe for some reason hasn't had any attention from 3A polls early this year. Appears they are the best in the mountains so far. I think their kids are playing for a different travel team or something like that.

Roberson was No. 1 in the latest NCHSAA 4-A rankings from Impact Baseball and also held spots in national polls from MaxPreps (No. 14) and Perfect Game (No. 29).

MaxPreps and Perfect Game don't have a travel team so they didn't have a grudge against your team. You soured a nice win with your comment about the Impact rankings. If your NB team is the best it will prove out in the playoffs. Best of luck to the team.

Also, one win doesn't prove much. If you want to believe you are the best in the mountains that's fine. I think Mars Hill is better than UNC. Mars Hill beat Gardner Webb and Gardner Webb beat UNC. Therefor, Mars Hill > UNC!

Not my team. Have not seen them play in over 3 years. Don't make assumptions. They do have the best young coach in the mountains though. I am familiar with him. Does things the right way.

Haven't seen them in three years but it appears they are the best team in the mountains because my friend is their coach. LOL
