    Olympic v Catholic

    14-2 Olympic over Catholic.

(WP: Tyler Byrnes) Sorry no box score. 6 runs in 3rd or 4th broke it open.

Great game tonight in Greenville. Back and forth contest, Rose hits a double in the 6th inning to take the lead.

    Very...nice

Good to see a pitcher help his team at the plate.

    Davie 12 North Davidson 2

Corey Randall, Matt Vernon and Hunter Arey all had home runs as Davie County defeated North Davidson 12-2 in six innings.
Ryan Foster was the winning pitcher for the War Eagles (9-1, 3-1 CPC).

Is there anywhere to find the stat leaders across the state? Matt Vernon now has either 5 or 6 homers on the season.

Markel Jones (NCSU) was 3 for 5 with 4 RBI's and Jesse Simmons (Campbell) was 2 for 5 with 4 RBI's as well.
West is now 7-4 (6-0) and in 1st place in the Waccamaw 3A/2A league after going through the conference once. West has defeated: Ashley, North Brunswick, and Whiteville. (all 3 of those teams were pre-season top 6 or better in their class) West plays Laney in a non-conference game Friday before getting back into conference next Tuesday @ Whiteville

    Bummer

Oh well. Maybe they'll face off in the rematch? EM@Prov boxscore looked like quality pitching on both sides.

Cant wait to see TC next week. Too bad Prov and AK amd SM are in Jack Sink. Who gives TC the best competition?
