Leesville Road moves to 9-0 and 5-0 in the Cap 8 after beating Millbrook 1-0 in 10 innings last night. I think that is the 3rd or 4th extra inning game that LRHS has been involved with.

    extra innings

Feel good about those extra inning wins. I wish the Saprtans could get 1. Of their 5 losses, 3 are in extra innings 1 in the other teams last at bat in the 7th, and the other was a 1 run game with the tying and winning runs at 2nd and 3rd with zero outs. Luckily they pulled a close one out 4-3 against previous conference undefeated WFR by scoring 1 in the bottom of the 6th.

    missed this one

Brooughton has been a huge disappointment, now sits at 1-8 overall, Wakefield is not as strong as years past and WFR is better than expected

Cooper not playing has certainly hurt Broughton. I would not have expected 1-8 without him. I have not seen WF-R yet. LRHS has been impressive on the mound which is a surpise and as you know they have been fortunate in many close games.
