    "almost hit a grand slam"??????

    I was at the game too. The MP pitcher "almost" picked a runner off of first base. The MP catcher "almost" beat out a grounder to short. And, lastly, the MP center fielder "almost" threw out a runner at third. All exciting plays, but give us a break. Are we really going to start reporting "almosts" now? Or will these be restricted to dads' posts?

    Almost is right

    He hit the fence about 6 inches from the top with the bases loaded. That constitutes almost a grand slam. Instead it was a double with two rbi's.

    Picky picky.

    What's funny is right before he hit it I turned to J.O. and told him I thought the kid was a pretty good stick. After the double he said ”I see what you mean.”

    I apologize..........

    I apologize for being a smart a__. I assumed the ball was caught when you said he almost hit a grand slam.
    I did not see the play. Must have happened when I was returning my hot dog for being a cold dog.

    Maybe if you didn't spend so much time being a "smart a__", your hot dog wouldn't have gotten cold.

    I was offended at first by your commemt, 2Seam..

    But then I checked all your posts.......you just seem to attack everybody.
    I guess it WAS my fault my hot dog got cold but my wheelchair got stuck on my way back to my viewing location.

    If Ryan hit it at anywhere other than mp it would have been a grand slam. At providence it would have cleared the fence by atleast 30 ft
