    Gas-House Gorillas

I messed up and nobody caught me. Recently I compared Providence to the Mud City Manglers when the old Bugs Bunny cartoon opponent was actually the Gas-House Gorillas. The Mud City Manglers was the football team in the Bullwinkle cartoon.

It's understandable that I inadvertently compared Providence to a football team. They could also easily be compared to a basketball team too! The 3b is 6-6, Pitchers are 6-8, 6-5, 6-5, 6-4 etc.... The Catcher is 6-3. No joke. They have 10 or 12 guys taller than 6-2!!!!!

I am going to assume that he is a RHP. That's a huge part of why he is not signed yet. If he was a Lefty, he would be signed by now. Don't worry though, there are and will be plenty of schools that will see this kid and give him a chance. Might not be exactly what you want (D1), but he will find a place to play.
