    We are pleased to announce that Jack Edmiston (2012 CBC O's/Lake Norman HS) has verbally committed to Bates College (Maine).

    Jack is one of the hardest working players to have graduated this program. He serves as a wonderful example to his peers and young players hoping to follow in his foot steps. Jack takes great pride in achieving academic excellence, while also demonstrating great maturity, class and
    professionalism on and off the field. It has truly been a blessing to
    have Jack Edmiston as a member of our program.

    Congratulations to Jack, his brother, Ian (2012 CBC O's/Lake Norman
    HS/ Fordham University), and the entire Edmiston Family on this
    phenomenal achievement.

    Bates College has landed a special student-athlete!

    Congrats to the Edmistons...

    Jack is a fantastic young man and a real competitor. I remember the first day he donned the catcher's gear and he has worn it with distinction ever since. Back in the youth baseball days, folks were calling him Senator (much like Alex Baker) as it was apparent that he was going to achieve something with his life. In my five years of coaching, I only received a season-ending thank you note from two players....Jack and Ian Edmiston, and I received one every year.

    Congrats to the whole Edmiston family!

    Congratulations Jack!

    Bates is getting a terrific young man and an outstanding ballplayer. He is a pleasure to coach, a great teammate, and I know he and Ian are destined for great things.
