Amen Coach... my son received 3 facial fractures after being struck with a line drive while throwing batting practice. Getting that call at work to rush to the ER was downright frightening, my thoughts and prayers to Kyle, his family and teammates and the kid who hit the ball. The kid who hit my son by accident was devestated with guilt, despite my reassurance that it was an accident. Praying for all involved....

If HR beats JMR, CM beats NWC and MP beats CC it would make HR the 2 seed and a 3 way tie with JMR, CM and MP. All split with 1-1 records... guess the tie-breaker goes to who beat NWC (which JM did and CM must do for the sake of discusion) and then its beyond me....

*The tie-breaker for the conference tournament seeding goes head to head, if split series then who won a non-conf matchup, then which team beat the highest seeded team.

*The tie-breaker for state tourney is different...Head to head, then who won a non-conf matchup. Then which team went further in the conference tourney...

If the final season standings result in a 3 way tie for 3rd and one of the bottom 3 (CC, Concord or Kannapolis) win the SPC tourney and 2 of the tied teams for 3rd lose in the opening round, it would force a play-in game for the final seed... like last year when CM beat CC after both lost first round SPC tourney games. The top 5 are locks if it plays out as planned, with only NCHSAA seeding TBD for 2-5 seeds. :whoosh1:
