    NPC conf tourney championship.

Not sure if this score rises to the level that "shouldn't be posted", but I prefer the Raiders see it, Sorry. And props to Carson. Better not sleep on this team in the playoffs. they have improved ALOT and playing very very well.

    Princeton over Rosewood

    WP - Tori Paul
    LP - Amanda Beckard

    Princeton 5
    Rosewood 4

Princeton and Rosewood ended up with the same conference record. Princeton landed first seed because they handed Rosewood their two conference losses.

    Laney 1, Ashley 0
    For the record: Laney (19-3, 10-0). Ashley (16-5, 8-2).
    Ashley 000 000 0 – 0 2 1
    Laney 000 001 0 – 1 5 1
WP: Madi Johnston. LP: Crystal Harrell.
    Leading Hitters: L –Katie Hewett 1-3, RBI. A – Taylor Carter 1-3.
    Note: Johnston 7 IP, 0 R, 1 BB, 9 K; Harrell 6 IP, 1 R, 0 ER.

This was a great game to decide the conference champions in the Mideastern 4A Conference. It was a pitchers duel that had no scoring until the 6th inning. In the bottom of the of the 1st, Laney's Alexis Hall tripled to right center, but was retired a few pitches later while trying to score on a passed ball. After that there were no threats from either side until the bottom of the 6th. Laney's Charlene Thompson reached 1st on an error. Madi Johnston sacrificed her to 2nd with a bunt. A hard hit ground ball to centerfield by Sarah Tompkins was hit too hard to get Thompson in from 2nd and she was able to dive back in safely at third on the throw behind her. Katie Hewett then hits a hard ground ball to 2nd fielded by Schae Dickson of Ashley. Dickson looks Thompson back at 3rd twice before throwing to 1st for the out. On the throw Thompson breaks for home and slides in just under the tag for a 1-0 lead. In the top of the 7th, Schae Dickson leads off the inning by reaching 1st on an error. Drew Dickson then reaches on a fielders choice with Schae being put out at 2nd. During the next batters at bat, Drew Dickson advanced to 2nd on a passed ball, before the 3rd batter strikes out. Then one of the best at bats we have seen all season occurs. Kaitlin Adams takes the count to 3-2 before forcing Johnston to throw her 15 pitches. Adams eventually hits a hard line drive down the left field line, which is caught by Thompson. This was a great showing by both teams.
