    Saw some of this from the hill after going to the MR/South Rowan game. Bostic not as sharp as I have seen him but if Weddington swings the bats like that, they will be really be tough to beat with the arms they can throw at you.

    MR got 3 in the first and just seemed to try to hang on. Chadwick did not have his best stuff but battled through 6 and left with a 3-2 lead going into the 7th. Wotell walked the first 2 hitters leading off the 7th and then a botched suicide squeeze turned into an error that dearly cost the Mavs.

    Credit South Rowan for making all the plays when they needed them. Really seemed like MR could have put them away early and did not.

    Maybe the biggest win in Asheville High history. Jr. Josh Hall threw a complete game shutout. Congrats to Coach Bill Hillier Jr. and the Cougars

    Catholic actually won 12-5 over Cox Mill. Tuesday will be fun with Weddington coming to Jack Hughes.
