St. Claire has won some big games this year and I would imagine he gets the start but Wells has pitched well and I am sure they wouldn't hesitate to go to him if things started to go poorly. Will be curious to see how it goes.

    pitcher abuse

I like Wells, but since their coach routinely throws them 125-150 pitches per game, he will ride them as long as he thinks they are being effective. I hope these boys don't get permanently injured before they throw in college.

    Back to original question.

I pick the field, they may be the best team in the state but in a one and done scenario you have to take the field. We will see.

    CPC

Congrats to the CPC!!! They swept the SW4A! No surprise at all. The CPC is one of the best and most balanced conferences in the west. They dont get much respect because of their conference records but thats what happens when you have a balanced conference from 1-6. I believe West Forsyth, Mt. Tabor, Reagan, and Davie County all showed out tonight! Good luck to all of the CPC teams in the 2nd round.

Who would've thought that the 2 teams still playing out of Mecklenburg County would be Hough and Charlotte Catholic??!! Catholic and Weddington Tuesday night should be something special!
