    No personal disrespect to a fellow "WC" grad., but if a story cannot be found with this young man, one should consider another line of work. If the observer decides it wants to cover baseball, then this is the place to start. I know, I know, he is not from Meck Co., but his dad did graduate from East Meck. Here's an idea.....why not buy the story from the EJ and run it!

    Guess I need to quit then, huh? Sorry. I put some information about this young man in the paper. I cover high schools. He is in college. He is an out of county player playing well in college. What I did, for what I do, was the right amount of coverage, I think.

    I think the Monroe paper should and probably did do a larger story on Preston. I've always thought we should do more to follow area kids when they do well in college. And we do well in some instances.
