    Memorial Day

    Post 66 Mooresville 9, Mocksville 2
    At Lake Norman High Park

    66 Moors - 9
    Mocksville - 2

For the Moors, Hunter Harvey bags the win going 6 innings allowing no runs, Aaron Harr strong in relief and Derek Petrosy closed. Ian Edmiston and Holden Pender got big hits and the team Spread out the hits just enough to push them across one at a time. Nathan Sharp was a highlight film at 3rd base all night long, an absolute beast in the corner he is fun to watch...

Post 66 will rest a day then travel to Stanly on Wednesday then Statesville at South Iredell High on Friday.
Back Home Saturday night vs Statesville, Lake Norman High Park, Game time 7:05

    Moors 8, Stanly County 7

Post 66 Mooresville Moors used the cover of darkness to sneak out of Albelmarle late last night after they stole a win from Post 76 Stanly County. Trailing thru-out and 4-7 into the 9th the Moors strung 4 straight hits, Nathan Sharp, Sam Marshall, Holden Pender and the go ahead by Garret Welborne to race back for a 8-7 win. Patch work on the mound for Post 66 with Michael Elwell 4 innings, Ryan James 5,6, and 7th, Derek Petrosky notched the Win pitching the 8th, and Alex Cagide struck out 2 of his 3 in the 9th for a Save.
    Whewww...

    Statesville 6 Moors 5

    Statesville 6 Moors 5 Friday
Post 66 Mooresville Moors dropped the first loss of the season to the Statesville Post 65 boys last night by a 6-5 score. Sam Laws homered in the 1st for Statesville and the Moors were down 6-0 after 2 innings. Post 66 fought back with speed as Seth Hubbard and Jesse Seaford were a terror on the bags. In the 9th Ian Edmiston reached 2nd but the tieing run would go no further. Aaron Harr got the Loss but settled and pitched thru 6 innings with Holden Pender going the rest of the way in fine relief. Fun contest to watch, Close...

Moors 5 Statesville 3, Saturday Moors Get the Win, earn split with Statesville
Post 66 Moors led out of the gate and held on for the 5-3 win over visiting Statesville Post 65. Hunter Harvey (W) for Mooresville and Sean Grant of Statesville locked horns in a pitchers duel until Post 66 finally broke thru with Jack Edmiston, Nathan Sharp, and Holden Pender swapping places at 2nd base in quick succession. Well played has hits and errors were few for both sides. For Post 66 Derek Petrosky pitched the 8th and Alex Cagide came on to turn out the lights in the 9th. Awesome

    Kannapolis 15 Mooresville 4

Kannapolis Post 115 came to Mooresville ready to play last evening. The result was a painful smack down for the rising Post 66 team. No footing was gained as the Moors sent Mike Elwell (L), Logan Beegle and Derek Petrosky to the mound. Errors followed each pitcher. Sam Marshall and Nathan Sharpe still shined for the home team defense. Can't look back, Reload for tonight.

    Concord 10, Mooresville 9
Friday night the Post 66 Moor's continued the slide into the midseason break. Hunter Harvey started and handed off the lead at 5-2 in the 6th. It was an up and down affair from that point. Pitching in relief Logan Beegle, Aaron Harr and Alex Cagide (L) saw the lead change hands 3 times. Again the late inning Errors killed the Post 66 effort. Nathan Sharpe made the Play of the Year on an unassisted double play at 3rd base, dive-snag-dive-tag. Worth price of admission...

Post 66 takes a Break to right the ship.

Whoever posted the Mooresville Post 66 Senior 2012 Schedule

POST 537 is definately not the MOOR or MOORS
Post 537 is the Wiggins Road Team not the Mooresville Moors

Can you edit that to reflect the right team associated with "Post" 537

Not speaking for the poster, but Moor is short for Mooresville, not an abrev. of the Moors
