What a treat this is to follow AWood since his freshman season at Providence to being selected in the draft. I know what Alex has been through all of these years, but with great guidance from his parents, Richard and Carol, as well as "doing the work", Alex has fulfilled all potential to get to where he is.

AWood is special on and off the field. This charismatic young man has the poise, determination and talent to make it to "The Show." I know I will see him there soon....and hopefully I will be given free box seat tickets:lmao:

Thanks everyone! What a roller coaster ride for 2 days and we are so blessed. He couldnt be in a better place and if he winds up in Rome, GA he'll play all around the Charlotte area. He might even have a catcher he may have thrown to when he was 10 yrs old hangin around with him,,,how about catcher10!!!!

P.S. Dreams really can come true....

Congrats to the whole Wood family.

REALLY looking forward to seeing Alex at the next level. For all that know both Alex and Tyler Tewell, how cool would it be to see these guys together.

    Looking forward to it.
