Due to an injury, Team TFS 10u is looking for another pitcher to add to their roster for two tournaments during the month of June, and possibly for July as well. 14u travel team fall2012 and spring 2013 tryouts

The Yadkin County based Carolina Xtreme 14u will be having tryouts for the fall 2012, and Spring 2013 seasons.
Tryout dates will be July 9 and July 11 2012, at Courtney Elementary School 6:00p.m.

Carolina Curve 14u/16u showcase organization tryouts

The Carolina Curve is a name synonymous with Girls Fastpitch softball in NC, having teams playing in tournaments throughout the southeast for more than 15 years or as long as Fastpitch has been played in NC. The team name founded by Bill Barrett of Mint Hill NC years ago has produced many great teams and championships over the years in many age groups from 8U all the way through 18U and been a place where college coaches could come and recruit not only great athletes and students but good people. Curve girls are scattered throughout colleges in the southeast.
Most recent history:
In 2010 the Carolina Curve Showcase record boasted a 51-16-6 record, playing in 11 showcases throughout the southeast. The Curve finished 3rd in the East Coast Fireworks, a 40 teams showcase followed by a single elimination bracket play. In August of 2010 the Curve won the ASA “A” Southern National championships earning a bid to the 2011 ASA “A” Nationals in Normal Illinois. The team was most filled by rising seniors but had 4 players already signed to play in college schools. We had 6 rising seniors, a rising junior, and a rising sophomore to showcase over the summer. All of who all went on to verbally commit in the Fall, 4 committed to DI schools and 3 committed to DII schools and 1 to a NJCAA school. In 2011 with a completely committed to college team the Curve had a 41-7 record. Winning the 2011 Dynamite Classic (first team ever from NC to win this exclusive 80 team invitation only showcase event), won the 2011 NC ASA “A” State Championship, won the 2011 Hot Times Classic, and placed 33rd out of 107 at the 2011 ASA “A” Nationals in Normal Illinois.
Carolina Curve 14u/16u team is a feeder team to our 18u elite showcase team. We have 2 practice facilities in Union County and are currently looking to fill 4 roster positions for the fall season. Our current roster consists of 97 & 98 birthdays. We are a team of self motivated disciplined hard working “A” ball players and are looking for the same to complete our roster. We will play some 14u and 16u top level ball in the fall. We are a professional organization and demand the best from our coach’s players and parents. We are a hardworking team and only looking for girls that are dedicated hardworking with the desire to play at the next level. Current needs are 3rd base shortstop 1st base and a pitcher. Our team plays a disciplined brand of defense where communication is paramount and an aggressive brand of offense that requires a good bat and exceptional speed and decision making. Team TFS 14/16u is looking for travel ball experienced athletes to join our organization that can contribute to the team and improve their skills. If you feel that you are an experienced travel ball player or high-level athlete and want to play for one of the top organizations in NC, improve your skills, and prepare to play at the next level, Team TFS may be the organization for you.

Team TFS is an elite level softball organization with 1-8u team, 2-10u teams, 14/16u, & 18u. Our teams include young ladies from the entire state of North Carolina and we currently practice in the Raleigh/Durham area since it is a centralized location for majority of players. Playing for Team TFS provides fast pitch players a comprehensive benefit package available from any tournament travel program. For the serious softball athlete who wants to expand their horizons beyond local tournaments, Team TFS can provide the opportunity and give players national exposure and experience.

The Team TFS organization has officers and professional coaches at 18u and 16u and leadership with over 45 years of combined experience at the travel ball and NCAA DI level. Our 16U & 18U showcase teams play true, competitive, and high college coach ratio showcase tournaments.

Over 95 Division one college coaches witnessed Team TFS games in 2011

Over 50 players have received assistance from Team TFS in regards to recruiting and development. Thirty of those players competed for Team TFS and directly received scholarships or offers to play at all levels of NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA. Twenty of those 31 players accepted or had the opportunity to play at the NCAA DI level.
