Fayetteville State Softball Camp 6/25-6/29

Fayetteville State University will be offering its annual softball camp from 9am - 12pm, June 25th through June 29th. Campers from the ages of 8 through 17 are invited attend.

Focus of instruction will be on fielding, pitching/catching and some batting. Coach Who along with several rostered players will be providing instruction.

Each camper, of course, receive a TShift with their registration.

Please contact Coach Who at [email protected] for a registration form. Cost is $50 for new participants, $40 for returners and all proceeds are used towards the teams annual Spring Break Rebel Games trip.

 

One day recruiting camp this weds

College Bound Players there will be a one recruiting camp hosted at Presbyterian College (Clinton SC).

Coaches from the SE and Mid Atlantic

Players will work through a number of offensive and defensive drills

Question and Answer session on the recruiting process

The camp will end in a live scrimmage

July Pitching Academy in Raleigh

My name is Leigh Ann Genetti and I am a pitching instructor at Grand Slam, USA, and formerly an assistant coach at NC State. I was an NCAA All American and had the opportunity to play on the US National team in 2005. I am offering an on-going pitching academy for ages 12+ on Tuesday nights, July 10, 17, 24 and 31 from 6-8 PM at The Franciscan School in Raleigh.

Over the course of the academy each pitcher will learn the proper mechanics of fastball, change up, rise, drop, curve and screw. I will discuss placement of each pitch and how to effectively use movement to set up hitters. There will be focus on power and explosion to gain speed, as well as precision to gain accuracy. Video analysis will be emailed to each participant. Coaches and parents are welcome to listen in on all sessions.

Campbell Summer Camp

I want to personally thank the softball community in NC for all of their support! We had another amazing summer camp July 15-19, with 161 campers on hand. We have been so blessed to play a role in the advancement of softball in our state.

Each year we are amazed at the advancement of talent and love for this amazing game.

We are planning to add more one day clinics this fall, and of course we will continue our annual winter clinic January 12, 2013. It has continued to grow, and we are always seeking to improve on what has already been so well received.

Again, thank you for sharing with us as softball in NC is growing in popularity, skill, fun and opportunity. We want to promote excellence in the game, and to do it in Jesus name.

Finally, if you haven't seen our new stadium, we would love for you to check it out. We are so blessed to have this wonderful facility, and SO THANKFUL for all who helped make it possible.

From the North
Take exit 79 off of I-95, head west through Benson, follow NC Route 27 west to Campbell University (signs are posted).
From the West
Choice of U.S. 421 or NC Route 27 through Lillington. Both routes take you to Campbell University (signs are posted).
