    Playoff Schedule and pairings for the 2012 CCSSL Championship Tournament are posted on the main page of the CCSSL website: Central Carolina Scholastic Summer Baseball League

    A team to definitely watch out for in the upcoming tournament is this ^^ Richmond Raider ball club. These guys have steamrolled through the division and have really been playing some strong ball throughout the entire season. They're dominating all phases of the game - consistently putting up strong pitching, hitting and defensive performances night in and night out.

    A few of their season totals: 112 runs scored, 16 allowed, 6 wins by 10+ runs, posted 6 shutouts and 4 games allowing just a single run... I think maybe only West Johnston has put up more ridiculous numbers this summer. I'm a Pinecrest fan, so naturally we're rivals tomorrow night and Monday when the Raiders tangle with my Patriots to close out the regular season, but I would like to see them do well in the tournament next week, so I'll be pullin' for the Raiders in the playoffs.
