    Good game last night... Caldwell needed some timely hits with runners in scoring position. Couple of aggressive base running mistakes made the difference. Good ball game from two good teams. Should be a good series

    Rain-outs

    hope we can get all these games in this week with all these thunderstorms brewing almost everyday. We need the rain but we have got to have this series completed Saturday. I would hate to see the series shorten because of rain. That first win in the series is mighty important.

    Brought Mrs. Luigiboy to Butler HS for the Caldwell/Mint Hill game. Hopefully it dries up long enough to get this thing in.

    Pineville's post, another Mint Hill Post and Post 262 (QC) all decided against funding the baseball teams this year. QC had a team because of the efforts of one man who decided to take upon himself to fund a team because he hated to see the team go away. Our boys owe him a tremendous debt of gratitude. I don't know what the future holds for these teams.
