NC Challengers Tryouts - Sunday, August 5 @ 1:30pm

Raleigh, NC – The North Carolina Challengers will hold tryouts for their 2012-2013 teams on Sunday, August 5, 2012 starting at 1:30 PM at Laurel Hills Park in Raleigh, NC. All coaches with contact information shown below have multiple openings on their teams they are hoping to fill via this tryout.

At the present time, the following teams do not have any roster openings to be filled via this tryout: 18U Stewart, 18U Adams (moving up from 16U), 16U North (moving up from 14U), and 14U Renzi.

All families interested in participating are encouraged to pre-register for tryouts by emailing their respective coach. All players that pre-register by July 27th will be guaranteed a free tryout t-shirt, so please specify your shirt size when sending your contact information.

Player registration will take place at the picnic shelter to the left of the community center.

The North Carolina Challengers, based out of Raleigh, NC, have been in existence since the 1990’s and strive to develop teams that can play at the highest of levels in North Carolina, the Southeast, and across the country. We are looking for committed families with team first attitudes towards developing their daughter’s skill set in the game of fastpitch softball. NC Challengers teams are focused on having fun, "teaching", fundamentals, team play, and being competitive with the top teams in North Carolina, the Southeast, and the country.

 

Charlotte Magic Adding Players

The Charlotte Magic 18u Showcase is looking to add some solid athletes for the fall 2012 and summer 2013.We will be hosting an open tryout Saturday July 28, at 11:00. All positions will be considered with special interest on pitching. We are looking for 2014, 2015 and the right 2016. Tryouts will be held @ Northside Christian Acdamey. The Carolina Crush organization will hold tryouts on the following dates and times at J.L. Mann High School in SC. The 14u and 16u teams qualified for ASA Nationals this year. Please contact the following names below for more information.

10U tryouts will be at JL Mann 9am to 11am

12U tryouts will be at JL Mann 11:30am to 1:30pm

16u Lady Blues Tryout

The 16u Lady Blues will be having a tryout at Central Cabarus Highschool on August the 4th from 10am-1pm. Our team is coming off of an impressive 2nd place finish in the ASA states. Our plan is to play 16u and 18u tournaments to prepare to win the 16u state championship next year to take us to nationals. Our ultimate goal is to get our players prepared for playing at the next level. We are looking for quality players at all positions to add to our already very competitive team. The Carolina Sliders are coming off of a successful season and will be holding organizational wide tryouts for all teams on 7/22 at Carver Elem. School (291 Liles Dean Road Wendell, NC 27591) from 2-4pm...We are looking for competitive players with a winning attitude and a passion for the game. We are aggressively looking for 02's, 01's, 99's and 98 birth dates. Strong 03's with travel ball experience will also be considered. Tar Heel Stars Tryouts This Weekend

The Tarheel Fastpitch Stars will hold tryouts this weekend July 28th AND 29th at the Northwood HS softball field in Pittsboro, NC. We will hold individual tryouts by appointment.

The tryout starts at 10 AM. Registration is required and is currently underway. To register for a tryout, please go to the Stars web site, www.tarheelstars.org, then to the "About The Stars” menu and complete the form under “Get More Info”. The 29th date & individual tryouts are added to help with scheduling conflicts for prospects.

The Stars organization was created to field teams of elite players throughout the state and region that are looking for PROFESSIONAL coaching and play at a high level. The goal of the Stars is to help players extend their career beyond high school by preparing them to play at a high level, and presenting them to university and college recruiters.

The Tarheel Fastpitch Stars is a North Carolina Corporation and has obtained the IRS 501©(3) status to formally operate as an tax-exempt, non-profit corporation. The mission is to provide a professionally organized, structured, and supportive environment with quality development and professional coaching to inspire student athletes, and assist them in fulfilling their dreams of achievement in academic excellence, high level competition and playing collegiate softball.

The Stars have knowledgeable, experienced, professional coaches for our teams that have proven experience teaching, coaching and exposing talented players to college coaches and programs (see more on our coaching staff on the web site). We play a competitive schedule at some of the best showcase tournaments in the region.
