I just happened to see this on Caitlin Lowe. Check at about the 3:15 - 3:22 time slot on the video. She's definitely out of the box when she hits the ball.

I see slappers out of the batters box all the time and they never call them out. This gives them a huge advantage. The officials just need to do their job.

    Definitely not definitely

I slowed this down as much as I could. We need one more frame to tell for sure. The box isn't all that clear either.

I am so sick of hearing about slappers being out of the box!

For the most part a slapper's front foot does not touch the ground until the bat has already contacted the ball.

Our priority is to watch the pitch location, if we are looking to see where the batter's feet are then chances are very good we will miss where the pitch crossed.

This rule was put in place to keep batters from stepping out of the box to hit an intentional base on balls.
If you watch MLB almost every batter that bunts steps out of the box with one foot.

I watched the video and at worst the back foot would still be touching some part of the line if it existed. The front foot looks as if it is still in the air on contact.

    There is no violation here!!!

So you don't know if they are out of the box or not because you are not looking at their feet. Makes sense why it is never called.:apeani:

rhughes18 is correct. The back foot is still in the box during contact and the right foot is in the air. This is competely legal and in fact it is taught this way. If
any part of the planted foot is in the box or touching the line then there is no violation and it is a fair hit.
